About the Author
![]() He traveled extensively in Europe and India and began writing literary fiction while living in London. Mr. Perera later lived on the island of Hawaii where he wrote Burning Woman, Buddha in the Forest, and the soon-to-be-released novel The Everlasting Field. His fiction explores the themes of existential crisis and transcendent potential of the human spirit. Currently, he is preparing Demon King's Flying Machine, Futility of Nostalgia, and The Elephant Hunter for publication.
